| SCHOLARSHIP RULES TO QUALIFY TO RECEIVE OUR $1000.00 SCHOLARSHIP ANNUALLY YOU MUST: Be a direct descendent ( child, grand-child, great grand-child) of a member of Piemontesi Nel Mondo Association, and of Piemontese descent. Sponsoring member, whose descendent os applying, must have been a member in good standing in the Piemontesi Nel Mondo of Southern California for a minimum of one year before any descendent may qualify to enter the scholarship program. Candidate must have a 3.5 or higher grade point average. Committee will accept Official G.P.A. Transcripts only. Compose and submit an Essay, containing a minimum of 300 words or more, telling us about the: IMPACT OF PIEMONTESE MIGRATION WEST OF THE MISSISSIPPI RIVER Obtain a Letter of Recommendation from a Teacher. Application, Letter of Recommendation Official Transcripts and Essay must be received by us no later than: May 9, 2004. The Scholarship Committee will review all applications, and submit its findings to the Board of Directors of the Piemontesi Nel Mondo of Southern California. In the event of a draw, the best essay, chosen by the Scholarship Committee and the Board of Directors, will determine the winning candidate for the scholarship.
